Legal

Terms of Service

Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using OnPlas you agree to these Terms of Service. If you use OnPlas on behalf of a company, you confirm that you are authorised to bind that company.

Accounts & Eligibility

You must provide accurate information, keep your sign-in details confidential and tell us promptly if you suspect misuse. Supplier accounts are reviewed before they can list products, and you are responsible for everything done through your account.

Marketplace Conduct

Use OnPlas honestly: post only products, prices, certificates and claims you can stand behind, respond to RFQs and messages in good faith, and respect other members. Spam, counterfeit or unlawful goods, misleading listings and attempts to bypass platform safeguards are not allowed and may lead to content being hidden or an account being suspended.

Verification & Trust Indicators

A Verified badge means OnPlas has reviewed the documents the company supplied at that time. It is not a guarantee of a company's quality, performance or creditworthiness; buyers should carry out their own checks before trading.

Payments & Fees

OnPlas connects buyers and suppliers; contracts for goods are made directly between them, and payment is arranged between those parties. OnPlas does not process payments, hold funds or provide payment protection; the payment records on the platform are notes the buyer and supplier make about a payment they arranged themselves. OnPlas does not currently charge a commission on orders. If fees are introduced, we will tell members in advance and show them clearly before they apply.

Intellectual Property

You keep ownership of the content you upload, and you give OnPlas permission to display it on the platform for the purpose of running the service. You must have the rights to anything you upload. OnPlas owns the platform, its design and its software.

Limitation of Liability

OnPlas is not a party to transactions between members and is not responsible for the quality, delivery or payment of goods traded through the platform. To the extent the law allows, OnPlas is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service.

Termination

You can ask to close your account at any time under Account > Privacy and your data. Our staff review the request, and an account with open RFQs, quotations, orders, unconfirmed payments, unresolved support cases or a legal hold cannot be closed until those are resolved. Closing a supplier account or its company needs a separate review. We may suspend or end an account that breaches these terms, puts other members at risk or is used unlawfully; where possible we will explain why.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which OnPlas is operated, and disputes will be handled by that jurisdiction's courts, unless mandatory consumer law says otherwise.
